Balneário Camboriú is the best place I must say among the places I have been to Brasil. So I recommend it 100%. As everyone's saying it is the city of skyscrapers, yup Dubai of Brazil.
Well getting there by airport then you might like to take a ferry boat which takes you to Itajaí and there on just grab a bus to BC. This is the cheapest way to get to BC. Uber right from the airport navegantes tô BC cost like 90 reais. On the other hand, the ferry thing would be like max 50 reais. Well, there is this an app called Buser these days which might help you save some money too. Use my link below to get some discount,

Well, let us get to the point. The beaches here are awesome pretty clean and worth taking a walk every day. I like seeing people doing watersports, kids playing on the sand and running, skating and all sort of sports. You can hire a bike to take a ride by the beach. There are some nearby beaches like Bombinhas, Interpraia etcetera could be devoured either taking a tour package or by rented car. Uber and various other taxi services are pretty cheap. There are awesome options for eating out without compromising the quality and getting bang for the buck. Although the hotels are quite expensive, everything done in advance might help you. I must say the city is insanely safe. I mean you can walk in BC with cellphones in hand late night with no worries at all, which sort of left me shocked. Just taking a walk by the beach itself made me damn happy!
A couple of places where I loved to savor the meal are,
Pizza bis (must go)
Mortadela
